When is it time to do the real work to get better? Are you finally ready for the deep dive, underneath your pain, your chronic illness, your autoimmune lies the juicy pain of repressed emotions, of mismanaged relationships with people, places, and things. The poor coping behaviors that keep you looping in a victimized narrative and anxiety is a part of it. Inflammatory conditions come from deep within, not just the body, it’s cellular, it’s even deeper, it’s energetic.
Healing diseases may sound airy-fairy, but the truth is not in cacao-ceremonies, savassanas, or even sitting in meditation. Healing is about sorting out all the feels and taking action, the actions that direct you back to yourself and your true goals and desires; no one else’s.
That may be the hardest to hear. Healing rocks the boat. Healing challenges the norm. Other’s may not want you to be well, because if you are, they might have to adapt and, hey, they didn’t want to change, so…
Then what? What relationships are mutually beneficial and what ones need to end? Who are you without your diseases, without your pain and suffering? Are you curious? Are you there yet?
Movement helps inspire the belief that good health is possible, as simple as a 15minute circulatory routine. I can walk/dance you through it. This last one is the keystone; cognitive reframing. Learning to disidentify with the beingness of unwellness and recognize you already ARE the healthy person you dream to be.
