I am not sure if I’m trying to win some sympathy here but it’s not easy to promote your business when your legit purpose is to actually support people’s healing journeys.
In this culture of consumerism, scams, fads, funnels, and click bait, I’ve actively avoided marketing my business for fear of coming off salsey, to me, it’s the most offensive ick there is, being a spiritual person, and averted by materialistic values.
I shot myself in the foot for decades because of my own hang ups around traditional marketing. Well, I’m 51 for just a few months longer, and I see now that I’ve essentially been hiding from people in an effort to salvage my identity as an authentic wellness practitioner and educator.
Dare I call myself a Healer?
A part of the problem is that the word “healer” is deemed as arrogant and cause for skepticism. The problem is this; a true healer can not cure you, a true healer helps you to heal yourself. That relationship is sacred, and you don’t just shop for one online.
Sharing has a different energy from promotion.
Maybe it’s just semantics, but it feels more like energetics in reality. I’ve been in the world of wellness for most of my adult life. It’s beyond overdue to get what I know to the people who need it. Feel free to send me a message through my Contact page or set up a 15min chat to ask me any questions. I’m here for it!
